A 16.5" elongated head buys reach at the kitchen line and speed through the air. A foam-reinforced perimeter stabilises the frame around the face. Inside it, a polypropylene honeycomb core. Behind that, 5.5" of handle at a 4.125" grip.
The centre is polypropylene honeycomb — the familiar combination of control, responsiveness and dependable power. Around it, a reinforced foam perimeter braces the face right at its edge, which is exactly where a honeycomb core has the least support behind it.
That hybrid enhances power, expands the sweet spot and gives a more consistent response across the face. The core is a face structure: it runs out to the throat and stops there.
The dotted outline is where the shape used to end. The refined throat taper moves that shoulder up, so the face flows into the handle instead of stopping on top of it — more manoeuvrable through fast exchanges, and composed when the pace goes up.
Behind it sits 5.5" of handle — long enough to get a second hand on without choking up onto the throat.
Stiffen the edge of a honeycomb core and the usable part of the face gets bigger. That is the whole reason the two constructions are in the same paddle.
